Md. Jahedul Islam, Lecturer, Department of Law, American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), was invited as a trainer to conduct a special moot court training session for 120 students at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) on Tuesday, 25 August 2026. The session was organized by the NSTU Moot Court Society as part of its special program titled “From Research to Rebuttal: Mastering Memorial & Oral Advocacy.”
Held from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the training focused on legal research, memorial writing and oral advocacy. As an invited trainer, Mr. Islam conducted a dedicated session on Memorial Research Strategies, providing practical guidance on identifying relevant legal authorities, developing persuasive legal arguments and effectively connecting legal research with memorial preparation. The training strengthened participants’ analytical, research and advocacy skills for moot court practice.
The program further highlighted the importance of youth leadership, community service and empowerment through legal education and advocacy. Mr. Islam’s engagement with students at NSTU reflects AIUB’s commitment to sharing academic knowledge and professional expertise beyond its campus while contributing to student development and the wider academic community. The engagement also demonstrated the value of public-private university partnership and collaboration in promoting knowledge exchange, community engagement and meaningful opportunities for young people.
